How time flies

Things have been hopping around here. We finished up cheerleading season at the end of April only to focus on the upcoming dance recital which is this Saturday. The boys started baseball and t-ball. School is coming to an end, only 3 days left and summer vacation will begin. I'm so excited to have them all home (now please remind me of this statement when I'm into week 4) :)

I had my birthday last Wednesday, and it was a very nice day. Kids made me wonderful presents and my hubby took me out for dinner and a movie, it was a wonderful 32nd birthday!!

The kids are all doing wonderful, Danyelle will be confirmed this Sunday and we are having a little reception for her, I'm so proud of her. Tanner is itching to come down for the summer. Chase is nervous about his tumbling recital to Macho Man, I'm positive he will do wonderful. Mason is his old carefree self, enjoying his time at preschool and playing. Emma is in charge and I feel for the daycare children in my care as she is definately the boss. Sophia is now 10 months and has been walking for a few weeks and loves her new independance.

We are looking forward to a busy, fun filled summer!

Sophia's Baptism

Yesterday we celebrated the baptism of Sophia Lauren. It was a chilly but beautiful Sunday, my mom and step-dad traveled down. My step-brother Jason, his wife Linda and their 4 children came to celebrate along with Gary's grandparents.

Sophia did such a wonderful job, not even a peep! After her baptism we had a cake reception and served 80 people. It was wonderful to share our special with our family and church family.

Here are a few pictures of our day

So many things to update

It's been awhile since I've updated!! Lets see....In Feb we had our annual Sash family reunion. We enjoyed swimming with cousins and seeing our extended family. Tanner turned 11 on Feb 3, Danyelle became a teenager on the 17th and Chase turned 8 on the 20th. At the beginning of March Danyelle sang "Jesus take the wheel" for the Bill Riley talent show and she got 2nd place. We were so proud of her. We have had soooooo much snow and it's FINALLY melting and we can see signs of spring.

The kids have kept me busy with all their activities and my own busy schedule. We are looking forward to Easter and Emma's 3rd birthday. We have a busy weekend planned and I will post pictures as soon as I can. THe kids are excited to start spring break next week.

Sophia is 6 months!!! (Jan 19th)

I can't believe that it's been 6 months all ready. She is getting so big and she is so smiley and loves to talk up a storm...squeels and baby noises. She has us all wrapped around her little finger. She's now up to 15lbs and is finally in 3-6 month clothes. Here are a few pic of her from today.
All smiles for mommy (if you look close you can see her 2 new bottom teeth)

Here she is sitting in her Bumbo

Here she is playing in her exer-saucer

It's been awhile

Well things with the holidays definately took us by storm. All of our programs, family events and 7 kids worth of shopping and wrapping, just worn me out! But we had a blast and now it's time to update.

Danyelle has been doing competiton cheerleading and loving it, she's a flyer (the ones tossed in the air) and just has a blast. Here is one of their team pics

Tanner spent a lot of time with us over the break and we loved having him here. He started wrestling but really didn't enjoy it, Football and baseball seem to be his thing.

Chase has been wrestling up a storm. He loves it and spent 2 days over winter break in a wrestling camp. We have tournaments all through Jan and Feb.

Mason and Daniel enjoy being 5 and have a ton of fun playing together.

Emma is busy being a almost 3 year old. She is quite the dancer and singer. Loves to dress up and definately thinks she rules the roost.

Sophia enjoyed her first Christmas very much and is growing like a weed. She is all smiles and laughs so much.

Our Thanksgiving holiday

We had such a wonderful time this past weekend. Thursday we enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal with Gary's grandparents and his siter Stefanie. It was a yummy dinner and a very enjoyable time.

For the first time in years I didnt' get up at 4am to shop!! I did however go to my mom's and she took me and the girls out to eat at Red Lobster (one of my favorite restraunts) and we did shop for a few things but overall not a lot.

Saturday Tanner and Chase had there 1st wrestling tournament of the season. They both ended up with 2nd place which I think was pretty awesome!!! After that we had a soup lunch at my moms and then we all got ready to go to the UNI football game. UNI has had a perfect season and we were all excited to see them play in the 1st game of the playoff's. Let me just say it was a very exciting game and I'm glad we went even though it was a VERY late night for us.

Sunday we got our Christmas tree. This year we decided to go for a real one. Gary got rid of my fake tree this summer, the kids and I had fun picking it out and Gary had fun getting it on the van.

Big things are happening around here!

Well today is Sophia's 4 month birthday. It's hard to believe that it's been 4 months. Wow how time flies. Here is a picture of her from this past weekend when we celebrated Mason's 5th birthday.

Today Mason also lost his first tooth, Danyelle helped him pull it out. He has another one loose, so it's just a matter of time. Here is the picture of his first missing tooth.
